By using this website or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully — particularly Section 2 (research use only) and Section 7 (all sales final).
1. Who we are
Peptama is registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 89311248, based in Enschede, the Netherlands.
2. For research use only
Research and laboratory use only
All products sold on this website are intended strictly for laboratory and scientific research purposes. They are not pharmaceuticals, food supplements, cosmetics, or veterinary products. They are not intended for, and may not be used for, human or animal consumption.
By purchasing from Peptama, you confirm that:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are buying for laboratory research and development purposes
- You will not consume, administer to others, or apply the products in any non-research context
- You accept full responsibility for the safe and lawful use of the products
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices in euros (€), inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Calculated at checkout based on destination.
Payment processed securely through our payment partners.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time, including after order confirmation.
5. Order fulfilment
- We aim to ship within 1 business day of payment confirmation
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
- Title and risk pass to you upon delivery to the address you provided
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship across the European Union. Local pickup is available in Enschede by prior arrangement. Delivery times vary per country (1–5 business days). Full shipping details are available on our website.
7. All sales final — returns and refunds
All sales are final. Due to the sensitive nature of laboratory research materials and strict integrity requirements, Peptama does not accept returns or issue refunds under standard circumstances.
This policy is supported by specific exemptions in EU consumer law:
EU Directive 2011/83/EU exempts goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.
EU Directive 2011/83/EU exempts sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that lyophilized research peptides require strict cold-chain storage and sealed handling, and you waive your standard 14-day right of withdrawal in respect of these specific exemptions.
Limited exceptions apply to orders that arrive damaged or contain incorrect items, subject to a 48-hour notification window after delivery. Full conditions, exclusions, and the procedure for raising a claim are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Order cancellation
Orders may be cancelled in full only before they have entered our dispatch process — typically within 1 hour of payment confirmation. Once an order has been packed for shipment, it is considered final and cannot be cancelled or modified.

9. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve an issue is a violation of these Terms. We retain comprehensive documentation of every order — including order confirmations, dispatch photographs, weight records, and carrier tracking — which we submit to the relevant payment processor or bank to contest unwarranted claims. We reserve the right to decline future orders from accounts associated with chargeback fraud.
10. Intellectual property
All content on peptama.com (text, images, logos, design, code) is owned by Peptama or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish any part of the website without our prior written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, Peptama is not liable for:
- Any harm, loss, or injury resulting from non-research use of products
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Losses arising from failure to follow research safety practices, proper storage, or laboratory protocols
- Losses caused by improper handling, mishandling, or temperature excursions after delivery
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of that specific order.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, customs holds, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, or acts of government.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
Dutch law
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or any purchase from Peptama falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Overijssel, the Netherlands.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a competent court, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site or placing new orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
